About the escape room

For thousands of years, no human soul has entered this place. But you, as world-renowned archaeologists, are the first who want to find out more about the secret of this pyramid. Darkness prevails and you hear the echo of your steps as you enter the interior. A deafening noise makes you prick up your ears. What happened? You are left with just the two of you, separated from your colleagues. You can't see each other, you can only hear the other's voice. Was that a coincidence? You hear the fading steps of your colleagues - no! You're trapped, doomed to take your last breath in this sarcophagus, your glory stolen and soon forgotten. The oxygen is running low and will barely last for an hour. The situation is fatal - but you're not giving up that easily! There is a way out of the sarcophagus. Secret signs, sounds, and riddles guide you and lead you directly to the reason you came: to unmask the true builders of the pyramid. The title of this game already reveals a lot, doesn't it? This is not a normal escape room. In this game, you play separately from each other in 2 sarcophagi. The game is not recommended for people with claustrophobia.

Perfect for two: you lie separated in the "sarcophagus," radio each other through the dark, and crack clever team puzzles nonstop. Compact, intense, zero number-lock monotony—just right if you love communication and brainwork.

Overview of artificial intelligence

AIRelentlessly tailored to two players; separation and confinement are used smartly and keep both constantly busy. Most praise the puzzle flow, variety, and that communication is truly mandatory. Staff are seen as extremely friendly and attentive; hints are clear and fitting. Criticism appears for one fiddly task, a few slightly undercooked puzzles, and a twist some found predictable.
WeaknessesThe tight space isn’t for the claustrophobic, and the start feels briefly unusual to some. A few tasks feel a bit undercooked, sometimes with so-so tooling. The final twist doesn’t land for everyone, as it barely feeds back into the puzzle design.
StrengthsInventive, well-interlocking puzzles with clear light and sound feedback that credibly force cooperation. Very attentive hosts, clean, coherent framing, and reliable tech. A small highlight for couples or best buddies.
SecurityGood briefing, attentive oversight, and stable mechanisms; hints come quickly and clearly. Venue feels well-kept, with lockers and clean restrooms according to feedback.
Level of fearAtmospheric rather than horror—the coffin setup can, however, pile on pressure. No data on age ratings; due to the confinement, better suited to teens and adults.
Actors' gameNo live acting in the room; interaction happens primarily between the two players. The gamemaster is very friendly, alert, and gives clear, helpful hints when needed.
Quality of riddlesUnusual, fair, and varied, with a strong communication component and hardly any number locks. The flow is often praised, as are the clean light and audio cues. Rarely, things snag on a slightly fiddly tool or a task solvable a bit too early.
PlotYou’re archaeologists, separated in two sarcophagi, and must work through symbols, sounds, and puzzles to reach the truth about the pyramid’s builders. There’s a small twist—surprising to some, predictable to others—no spoilers.
Difficulty levelMedium to punchy, with solid escalation. Newcomers manage well with hints; experienced duos feel pleasantly challenged.

You can feel the attention to detail as soon as you walk in: a well-designed lobby, clean restrooms, and plenty of lockers. The team was extremely friendly—thanks to Clarissa for the great care. The room itself ramps up from easy to challenging, works flawlessly from a technical standpoint, and consistently relies on two-person teamwork, with clear light and audio cues. For us as a duo, a terrific

A game strictly designed for two people that makes clever use of the small space. The puzzles are unusual but at times a bit undercooked; at one point we solved something before all the components were in place, and one tool was too flimsy, which made things fiddly. The final twist was predictable and had no impact on the tasks. With a bit of polish, we’d be in love — as it is, it’s a clear recomm

One of my favorite games! Minimal space, used very cleverly, and consistently tailored to two players. The atmosphere and story really work; there’s even a nice twist. Especially strong: you truly solve everything together—no one is left standing around. Our host was super attentive and gave very clear hints. We’ll definitely stop by again in Vienna.

A great example of making the most of limited space. Exploring as a duo and the little surprises are a real joy, and the cooperative puzzles flow nicely. The twist at the end was fun, too.

Mummified is demanding, multifaceted, and creative. Instead of combination locks, there are smart team puzzles that really require you to talk and think laterally. Clean setting, super-friendly staff — we’ll definitely be back. Top!

At first a bit unusual and definitely not for people with claustrophobia. The puzzles are strong, though, and we had a lot of fun.

Small space, big ideas. The flow was strong; only one tool was a bit wobbly, which made one task more fiddly than necessary. Overall, very solid and recommendable.
